One day, i met a dreamer
He possessed a certain gleam
He told me that i'd be happy
If i closed my eyes and dream
And i did
I saw many great things
Unimaginable, undefined
Remarkable and amazing
They all seemed so real and so alive
But the dreamer was wrong
I felt so unfulfilled
For dreaming wasn't so special
It didn't seem so sweet
so, I opened my eyes
And he looked at me with a frown
He asked me why i stopped dreaming
And i just shrugged and smiled
But, after wards I said
Dreaming is fine
I had a blissful time
But only for a while
For why should I dream when
Reality is more beautiful than dreaming?
Surprisingly, he laughed
And looked at me in the eye
I like reality more, too, he said
If in my dreams I'm not with you.
